Very expensive for basic small room. Noisy, easily heard conversation and shower from other rooms. Women at desk have excellent English, offer info if asked but no help orienting one to tricks of room lights, tv, etc. Provided extensive good breakfast buffet for 10 euros.Bar in hotel. Hotel a little difficult to find by my taxi but provide driver with phone number of hotel a big help in addition to address. Location good (Barcelona)if you like to walk over 20 minutes.

Flat ground. Bus will take to museums and places of interest where you can get off and pick up another bus later, good for one day(20 euros)or two days I think 35 euros.Cheap bus to airport if you can walk 15-20 min.Taxi to airport 25 euros. All taxis metered.No tipping. One can get along without speaking Spanish. Beautiful old city, every block offers something if willing to look and appreciate. I traveled alone with no problems with anyone attempting purse snatching or interest in my minimal jewelry.Anyone I asked on the street for help in directions was most helpful. Be willing to explore and discover and enjoy the unexpected tapa resturant, good beer or sangria.

Hotel very clean and staff excellent. A bit noisy though so bring your ear plugs!

If you use Aerobus get off at university.Tourist bus a good way to see city.Loved cablecar and coffee overlooking city.

Off the beaten track and therefore quiet but only a few minutes walk from the main attractions and metros etc

Hotel itself is excellent but the surrounding area especially the street below our bedroom is very noisy with fireworks etc.

Bus trips in Barcelona are excellent. The seafood restaurants at the Marina are very good

The hotel was away from main tourist area but conveniently located 2 minutes from Metro Station in a relatively quiet, off avenue, street. The double room facilities were basic but clean, and the staff were helpful with any enquiries.

Top Tip
For a short stay of 2 nights, we found the Sightseeing opentop buses the best and cheapest method of getting around all the main attractions and for getting to know Barcelona.
