Fantastic location, right on Ramblas in the centre of Barcelona.
Lovely friendly staff.
Rooms are good sized for Barcelona, airy and comfortable.
Buffet breakfast has something for everyone.

The hotel boasts a prime location directly on the Ramblas, so it's ideal for those who like to be in the hive of activity. This former monastery has retained many traditional features, but is well maintained and provides clean, comfortable 3-star accommodation.

There are a total of 160 guestrooms, newly refurbished and modern with wooden floors and a light, airy feel. Some rooms have balconies, and all are equipped with TV, direct dial telephones and safes. The Oriente has about 32 double, 114 twin, 10 triple and 4 quad rooms. For families there are 4 4 connecting rooms. Cots are free of charge.

although the walls are REALLY thin the space was quiet.... We were given a tiny room ... Nice big rooms.... Room was basic ... Nice clean hotel... very spacious and spotlessly clean room... Rooms at front of hotel were very noisy all night... rooms clean and functional... Beds Hard... a bit noisey most of the night as right on the Ramblas... ask for a room in the back ... The view from the front is excellent but very noisy at night... would ask for an "inner" room overlooking the atrium... The side rooms are rather noisy... Rooms a little cold ... pleasantly surprised with the standard of the room. ...
