I found the location of the hotel great as did the twelve other people travelling with me.

A number of our group took the sightseeing tour bus. Good value €24 for two days and three bus tours hop on and hop off. I bought a metro plus bus travel pass for two days €11.50 and made my own way around Barcelona.

The location is terrific. I've been to Barcelona quite a few times now and stayed in various hotels and this is the most convenient for many museums, Port Vell and the metro. The room was basic but comfortable and the bathroom acceptable. All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast good. I had scrambled egg, ham, tomatoes and a roll with orange juice and decent coffee for my 6 day stay.

A terrific location and I really recommend a little restaurant called Mar de La Ribera for good value, well cooked and tasty food - it's only a short walk from the hotel and the owners are very friendly. It's just behind the St Isabella church.

Breakfast could have been better with more variety.
Maybe an internet kiosk area would have been helpful.

The hotel was very clean, bright and friendly staff. Breakfast was good but was surprised that there was no fresh fruit served. Bar closed early at night especially if you had been out for the evening and I was not able to geta nightcap to bring to the room.
Top Tip
Just outside hotel was the local bus stop which was cheap to use and even for travelling back to airport. Also in the same square was the tour bus which brought you back to main square where you could changes buses. Close to beach and harbour particularly for the summer season.

Clean, modern hotel in a great location, next to the port and 150 yards to the nearest metro station. Staff spoke great English and were most helpful.
All of our rooms were in the original area of the hotel (not in the new refurbed parts) but they were all absolutley fine, a decent size, very clean (maid service every day) with a lovely power-shower.
Breakfast was continental, simple but just what we required, even better that we didnt pay for it!
Nine of us travelled on a Stag Do and, after extensive research, there was simply nowhere cheaper that could accomodate a party of our size. Dont worry though, it isnt your typical Stag-Hotel, there were no big groups of lads there, I'd say it was perfect for all kinds of visitor.
Top Tip
For bottled water/other bits & bats, turn right out of the hotel and theres a little supermarket 200 yards away. Also a little funky bar/resturant immediatly round the left corner.
