The best 3 minutes you will ever spend before booking your hotel accommodation!
We book hotel rooms everyday and every hour, so there isn't much we haven't seen or heard. Here are some useful guidelines to help to you get the best from your booking experience:
- Call and ask about hotels, their standard, location and style. We can offer so much more than any web site because we can LISTEN.
- Book your hotel when you are booking your flight. Don't just book your flight because it's a great deal without first getting a good idea of the hotel cost and availability. We can help, we will "hold" the room whilst you secure your flight (at the best price!).
- Beware of business, cultural or sporting events in Barcelona - these can have a dramatic effect on hotel prices and availability. If there is a big international business congress (Barcelona hosts 5 to 10 each year), then hotels book up very early and charge a premium - business travellers have to go and are prepared to pay.
- Do not believe all the pictures and images you see on the web, or indeed all the reviews - everyone has a different view of life and it is no different for hotels.
- Don't spend hours on the web trying to compare locations and distances - we can do it for you in seconds.
- Hotel Seasons in Barcelona. Below is our rough guide to how the seasons and prices fluctuate - they do vary from hotel to hotel and depending on any special events i.e. business fairs etc:
January & February - Low
March & April - Mid
May & June - High
July & August - Low
September & October - High
November & December - Mid
Peak dates and events every year:
Easter
Spanish Grand Prix (early May)
Christmas and New Year
Bank holidays - there are lots of these in Barcelona and they result in the city being very busy often because there are specific cultural events that attract visitors.
