i can't see how this hotel is rated as a one star thought it was much better than that. the staff were very helpful and efficent.

this hotel had two halfs,one half for your average traveller which was new and modern and the other half for stag parties which was not so new but was fine they catered for my party of thirty perfectly.when booking this hotel ask to stay in the new half. This hotel is seconds from an amazing harbour and about ten min stroll from beach with countless bars.

WELL SITUATED AND CLEAN. WE WERE A GROUP OF 20 RANGING FROM 20 TO 60 AND WE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

GET THE NO 8 TRAIN FROM THE AIRPORT AND IT TAKES YOU ROUND THE CORNER FROM THE HOTEL PLUS IT WAS FREE. 10 MINS FROM BEACH AND LAS RAMBLAS SO GREAT TO SIGHTSEE FROM. HOP ON OFF BUS STOP JUST 2 MINS WAY FROM HOTEL

We order a twin bed, but we got a double bed, they
can not change it, and they do not try to do it either
Top Tip
we travel for free from the airport, first bij bus, to trainstation, than to trainstation Franca,(it's only 200 meters walk)
also on the way back, we got free tickets for the train

Hotel was very basic, but it was all that we would have expected for the price we paid. Staff were friendly and the location was good. Close to the Tour bus and Train Station and a short walk to the Ramblas
Top Tip
Not much to do around our area, but it was out of season and 'in season' would have had a lot more facilities available by the number of restaurants/bars etc that were closed during our stay.

Althogh there was a safe in reception for guests to use I think it would be beneficial to all to put safe's in each room. The items are put in a bag with your room number on and then placed in a safe under the reception desk. Only once when i asked for our bag was i asked what my name was so there was always a concern that someone else could walk away with our items.
Top Tip
I would recommennd the bus tour to everyone. We were able to get on and off with ease and it enabled us to see most things we had wanted to and some things we didn't even know existed.

The bedroom we were staying in was a bit worn and old with a slightly musty damp smell. Although this was a little of putting at first the room, beds and bathroom were very clean. The location made the journey to and from the airport very easy using the REFN train.
Top Tip
Use the REFN train to get from the airport. One 30 min journey and hotel 3 min walk away. Turn left at the front on station and then left again at the next junction. The hotel is a couple of yards on the left.
