great hotel. rooms spacious and modern. staff lovely. only downside is no bar in the hotel, but it's so near to everything that it wasn't a problem.
Top Tip
take the cable car up to montjuic, then walk down and have lunch on the terraced restaurant halfway down. lovely.

This is a true City hotel - room and nothing else.
Good Location ( 5 mins from the Ramblas and by the port.
The breakfast buffet was acceptable at a minimum level but was quite poor.
Top Tip
City bus tours are a must.
Separate Gaudi tour was great
and much more informative than just walking around the buildings with a book.

New boutique hotel but:-
No tea/coffee making facilities in room
Washbasin was ludicrously small.
They charge for use of room safe. In the Gothic Quarter which is full of restaurants and also convenient for the metro and sightseeing.

brilliant position , very clean and quiet ,staff all speak english,

use the bars and resteraunts off the ramblas , you will save a fortune, we never had bad tapas anywhere ,

Water for shower not warm enough on second night.
Breakfast poor considering supposed to be 4 star.
Hot buffet was cold and at just the right temperature for food poisoning.
No hotel bar, pool or bath (shower only)
No tea or coffee facilities in the room which should be standard at this type of hotel!

Dont eat at this hotel.
Sinatra's very good to eat.

The sheets were dirty on our first night there.
There were huge cockroaches in the bathroom.
No tea-making facilities.
The staff were surly and unfriendly. Examine your bed linen.

Quiet and right off Las Rambla. Ask for outside view. "Hot" breakfast is served luke warm,but there are other foods. Nice hotel and good surprise. Staff charming.
Top Tip
There are many inexpensive restaurants, little shops, groceries very nearby (open sporadically thruout the day) with tin closures so it looks abandoned. Not so!
WATCH your purses on streets of Barcelona. Take the Bus Touristica not other one pushed by hotel.
