The pool was fantastic in the blazing heat, the other people staying at the hotel were pleasant and mixed, the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Brilliant hotel.

Our only complaint was that the room was very warm and we found it impossible to turn the air conditioning down. Otherwise we were very impressed with the hotel and its convenient location

what a fantastic hotel very modern
we loved our stay there didnt want to come home!
we did get lost on our first return to the hotel but it added to the fun!!! some comments were about the noise of the underground trains it was noticable but no way a problem it adds to the whole experience.
Top Tip
this was our second stay. the elephant club was very different.
we found some fabulous places behind la ramblers. on saturday the market was amazing.

only drawback is the subway running below hotel if you are a light sleeper.
Top Tip
excellent tapas bar in universitat square close to hotel. loved La Pallaresa Cafe in Petritxol opposite the main market for breakfast, open top tourist bus a good idea when you want to give your feet a rest!

Excellent hotel in an ideal location. Very near Plaza Catalunyia and the main shopping area plus La Rambla. Rooms are very clean and modern. Highly recommended.
The only downside with the hotel rooms is that there are no in room tea/coffee facilities. Means more frequent trips to Starbucks which is only a block away.
Take the Aerobus from Barcelona Airport to Universtat which is just round the corner from the hotel.
Top Tip
Leave a day free to definately go out to Montserrat which is a Monastery in the mountains. Take the cable car and then the fernicular to the top of the mountain for some fantastic views. A few of the routes allow you to walk down to the Monastery rather than taking the fernicular back down which wasn't made clear in any information they provided.
