Surprising amount of noise at night from late night revellers going home. A room at the back would be quieter. Very convenient to restaurants, La Rambla etc

I stayed in a single room which was perfectly adequate and clean but very small and with no view since it overlooked the central well. Hotel is well located to take in the Gothic area of the city with lots of restaurants in the vicinity. It should be noted that the Cathedral which is just round the corner from this hotel is currently undergoing renovation and therefore not exactly looking its best.

Top Tip

Open top tourist buses are a good way to get a feel for the city and you can get on and off where and when you like.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water available during stay. No tea or coffee facilities in rooms, Spanish TV only. Breakfast Buffet style more than adequate. Perfect location for exploring Gothic Quarter and in easy walking distance also of harbour area. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance

Lovely hotel - ideally placed near to cathedral in old town. 1 min walk to metro stop. Excellent breakfast buffet. No hotel restaurant but pleanty in locality.

Top Tip

Excellent tapas bar and restuarant Jaume 1 next door. Superb food at Los Caracoles(the snails) though not cheap! Cable car trip up to the castle - fantastic view over city

the staff were not at all friendly. the cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. The facilities does not warrant this hotel being a 4 star. Water was brown and each morning there was no hot water.Came back to the hotel at 0130 in the morning and could not get in as the night receptionist was asleep and it was ages before the door opened. The phone was ringing and we had been banging on the door but he still remained asleep

Great location. Handy for all sights and restuarants. Street packed full of bars
