The hotel's privileged location in the centre of Barcelona, right in the middle of the Eixample area, makes it very convenient for access to the main tourist attractions and shopping areas.

The Gallery Hotel is housed in a very modern looking building with a cream façade. It opened in 1992 to coincide with the Barcelona Olympics and is named for its proximity to the city's prime art-gallery district, a few blocks away on Rambla de Catalunya and Consell de Cent. Accessible via a revolving door, the medium sized lobby is pleasantly appointed, with a large wooden reception desk, a comfortable seating area to the right of the entrance and beautiful paintings on the walls. The 115 spacious guestrooms are decorated in a neutral, contemporary style with a desk and working area. They are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. Located on the ground floor, in a warm and peaceful terrace setting, the restaurant serves a wide range of Mediterranean dishes and a special daily menu. There’s also the elegant Cafe del Gallery, leading off from the lobby.
