Room was basic but clean. Light in room not strong enough to read a book. Not sure about the hotel been classified as 4 star. Breakfast poor presentation. Coffee had strong taste of chicory.

An excellent hotel, in a wonderful location. The standards of service and the quality of the room and facilities were high. We were limited in our Tapas choices as we are vegitarian, however this did not detract from the overall stay.
Top Tip
If you are vegetarian then Juicy Jones should be checked out.

Only one thing to make this stay better,would be tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Top Tip
Take the tour bus(blue and red routes)and then go and see what you fancy!Good things are the cable car to the castle,olympic stadium,Nou Camp stadium,Gaudi houses,Sagrada Familia,etc.Too many good restaurants to mention!The beach near the Port Vell marina is good.

My only criticism of this hotel was that food could be better. Breakfast cooked was always cold. Tapas not good value for money.

Local restaurants (next door) very good, Port Vell great place to eat.

Would recommend this hotel to couples and business people requiring discreet and professional service. It is well located for the marina and gothic district restaurants and bars and well within walking distance of the main train station which connects to the airport for just 2.5 euros. The staff were particularly friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good (10 euros). Rooms were modern and simple...a liitle corporate without original or interesting features but were spectactularly clean. Pool on roof only big enough for dipping (so didnt bother). Overall very pleased and a good price booked through justonehotel.com
