Room small but clean with modern facilities. Staff were lovely Breakfast was grand. Near to underground station.

the best thing about the hotel was the reception, beyond that ALL the carpet on the stairs were thread bare, there was wires hanging out of the walls wer there should of been light fittings on every floor, it was not clean, the room was standard which i didnt have a problem with as we booked 2 star but there was paint flaking from the ceiling were it was damp and a large hole in the ceiling

Renovations were taking place in the hallways and stairs which made things a bit difficult.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, called a taxi to take me back to the bus station etc. The breakfast could have had more variety, ie,perhaps some fruit and yoghurt. A good base for exploring the city.

Top Tip

Find La Boquertia market half way up La Rambla, amazing displays of fruit veg seafood etc. Fruit smoothies are very cheap and refreshing. Take the bus turistic all round the city. Red tour for Gaudi buildings, Sagrada etc and Blue tour equally as good but takes you further out of the city. Visit the Spanish village on the blue tour and see the mask shop, I bought three.

although the hotel was clean facilities were non existant the bar did not open the breakfast was poor however we were not looking for much and it was ok
