The hotel is located on a pedestrian street and overlooks numerous shops, like Zara, Mango, Diesel and others. Nearby, you will find the well known, El Cortes Ingles and several shoe shops. It is the ideal location for those who love shopping. Just 2 minutes walk from the hotel you will find the small Del Pi Square, where an abundance of cafes, delis and restaurants are available. The Gothic Cathedral is just 4 minutes walk from the hotel and Catalunya Square and Las Ramblas are just 50 metres away. The closest metro station is Catalunya and Liceu (green line). The harbour with its popular fish restaurants and nightclubs is just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Barcelona International Airport is 12 kilometres away and access to and from it is really easy, if you are using the airport bus, since it is the last stop on the route. The Albinoni has undoubtedly one of the best locations in the city.

The Albinoni Hotel is a well liked and very well located 3 star superior hotel. It is a listed building, included in the artistic heritage of Barcelona City. Pedro Bassegoda I Mateu built it in 1876, and in 1998 it opened its doors as a hotel. Previously a small palace, it has undergone extensive renovations but it has retained its neoclassical facade, stunning marble stairs and fancy moulded ceiling. The building is not just a hotel but a piece of history and art. Guests will feel this as soon as they enter the reception hall. The marble floors the stone archways and the high ceilings create a welcoming atmosphere. Adjacent to the reception area you will find the bar that is medium sized but well furnished and modern in style. A lounge area, adjacent to the bar, is equally stylish. The public spaces are welcoming and are decorated with drop down lights, dark blue, light blue and ecru colours. In general, the hotel is a stylish property and successfully combines traditional features with a modern style.
