Situated a short walk from Plaza Espana, one of the main drop off points of the bus from the airport, and about 15 to 20 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya and the Ramblas. The B Hotel is on the Gran Via, a major boulevard running through the heart of Barcelona and one which sustains a good deal of the city's restaurants and shops. It is handy for the Olympic stadium and the main railway station. The surrounding area is lively and has many shops, bars and restaurants.

The B-Hotel is a fashionable and glamorous boutique property designed by Alfredo Arribas, one of the most famous new architects in Barcelona. It offers guests the use of a heated outdoor swimming pool, solarium and gymnasium, as well as providing wi-fi connections for laptop users. All of the 84 soundproofed guestrooms are appointed in a minimalist, ultra-modern style. Business visitors may take advantage of the business centre, which offers free Internet connections. There is no restaurant, but there is a bar offering a wide range of drinks and snacks. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor. It consists of a special selection of cakes and pastries, natural fruit juices and high quality products, including a B-diet section with healthy options.
