My recommendation to others would be with caution. It is a basic hotel. We had to walk through the garage to get to our room. The room was small and the beds very uncomfortable. The view from the window was out onto a filthy terrace, luckily we had bars at the windows to prevent breakin. Hotel is good for La Rambla (5 mins) the sea front (10 mins) and the fountains (20 mins).
Top Tip
Do not eat on La Rambla. Just 5 mins down any back street and you'll find a less expensive tapas bar or retaurant.

Room was small but clean, the breakfast was good, staff friendly but the whole place was pretty shabby. This is relativity cheap down town accommodation, a place to crash in not relax in. They are 95% full year on year and have all the business they need. Rooms near the lift are noisy as people check out for early flights. I'll go back to Barcelona, I love the city but would try elsewhere next time.
Top Tip
Hotel rooms in Barcelona are in short supply, best to book early wherever you try.

The hotel was very noisy all night long. One of the rooms was so smelly we had to change. Room facilities were extremely basic with literally beds and bathroom with decor from 1980.
Top Tip
The restaurant next door was fine for a beer or coffee but the food was pretty average. The Barcelona Bus Turistic is probably the best way to see the City and its wonderful sights and architecture.

Ideal hotel for our needs. Clean room, good breakfast & excellent staff.
Just one downside though. Take earplugs. You can hear anything happening in your part of the hotel. If you want undisturbed sleep, you will need them. 5-10 min walk from la Rambla. Right across the road from the Metro

As advertised the hotel is clean and in a great position. The staff are lovely and efficient. The rooms basic but good enough and the included breakfast is terrible - so spend 10 euros and have their American breakfast complete with great coffee, orange juice and toast sitting outside in the sun. In Barcelona you really don't need a plush hotel anyway as you should be out seeing all the wonderful sights and eating the food.
Top Tip
My tip is to watch out for pickpockets at cash machines - but don't worry apart from that the locals are really friendly and there are plently of police about.

Very close to where its all at, with very easy access to two metro stations. About a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas and about the same to the Port. The hotel is along a road with many bars and restaurants that are ideal if you want to spend some time away from the main hustle on the main strip
