Friendly, accommodating staff. Perfect location for lively atmosphere of La Rambla and easy access to metro for beach and attractions etc. Air conditioning a little warm but better than nothing!Room perfectly adequate although walls thin - could sometimes hear activity in other rooms and the stairwell door banging.
Top Tip
Comfortable shoes - so much to do and see! Cable car ride to Montjuic a must for a stunning view of the city and coastline

I would recommennd only for young travellers as it is in the middle pqrty city and one of the noisiest streets [3am it slows down before street cleaners start @ 7am] OK if thats ok. Staff helpful if you push them - found me quieter (just) room. The advantage of being so central

Aim for the squqres where the locals qre eating for good food qnd good prices

Hotel was basic overall, but excellent location, right near pubs, restaurants,shops and within a 2 min walk to the rambla strip and 3 minute walk to nearest tube station, and about 10 min walk from Catalunya square.
Top Tip
Hard Rock Cafe is brilliant, great quality food, The zoo and the Sagrada Familia is a must see, The aquarium is good aswell and the Marina is fantastic even just to relax on.

I had a single room that is very small with a really narrow bed. Not even a real window in the room. Breakfast was not that impressive either. Helpful staff (fluent english) was the best part of the hotel. Location was very good too.
Price of the room was expensive, but I guess it is hard to find cheap accommodation from Barcelona.
Top Tip
Be careful during the night if you go out. I was robbed just outside the hotel, because around 5 am you can be really lonely there.

a basic hotel with en suite facilities but little else. If your looking for somewhere central in Barcelona with no frills this is perfect and about as cheap as they come. The street noise is excessive but this is normal for a central Barcelona hotel, if you want quiet ask for a room away from the street
